Mount Sinabung is an active stratovolcano located in the northern part of the island of Sumatra in Indonesia in 60 km to south-west of the city of Medan. It a height is about 2,460 meters. The first eruption for the last 400 years happened August 29, 2010, it forced about 12 000 inhabitants of Sumatra Island to leave their homes. The next eruption began in November of 2013, later in 4 January 2014, 1 February 2014, in June 2015, 27 February 2016 and 21 May 2016.
