Jerusalem is the oldest city in the Middle East and the capital of Israel, it is located between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea at an altitude of 650 — 840 meters above sea level. Jerusalem is a holy city for three major world religions — Christianity, Judaism and Islam. In the city there is a large number of relics, among them for example the Temple Mount and its the Western Wall, the religious architectural complex of the Haram esh-Sharif, the Church of the Resurrection or Church of the Anastasis, many churches and mosques.
