Kotel, or Western Wall, is the great and holy place for Jews, a place of prayer and pilgrimage for all Jews. The wall is located in the Old City of Jerusalem, near the western slope of the Temple Mount, it is the remains of the ancient walls of the Temple Mount. The name «Wailing Wall» comes from the Arabic the Place of Weeping, a place of mourning.
