Bologna is the administrative center of the province of Bologna and Emilia-Romagna, it is located in the northern part of Italy at the foot of the Apennine Mountains at the Arno River. The historic center of Bologna has area of ​​4 км², it is the oldest part of Bologna with many historical monuments. The main square is located in the most city centre, on it there is several a medieval palaces of 13th — 15th century and the Basilica of San Petronio. The highest architectural structure of Bologna is the two famous falling towers — Garisenda and Asinelli. Asinelli Tower is the highest and is visible through this webcam, the second tower is below. The towers is located at a distance of 200 meters to east of the main square. These medieval towers has inclined more than 2 meters, so they is very popular among tourists and is the symbol of Bologna.
