The church of San Giorgio Maggiore is located on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, it was built between 1566 year and 1610 year by the architect Andrea Palladio. In 1791 on the place of the collapsed bell tower was built brick tower of belfry, it is visible from the roof of any buildings in Venice. On the foreground seen the art museum of Punta della Dogana, it is triangular shape and located in confluence of the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal. In it there is an extensive collection of exhibits contemporary art.
