Essaouira is a port city and fortress located on the Atlantic coast in 170 km to west of Marrakech and in 170 km to north of Agadir. The city is very popular among windsurfers, because here high coastal waves and constant easy breeze. In Essaouira there is two surf center — Club Mistral and Fanatic, both with a wide choice of equipment and own a restaurants. The main sights of Essaouira is the slave market, the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah Museum (former residence of Pasha), and local craft shops.
