Medina is city in the western of Saudi Arabia in 200 km from the coast of the Red Sea in the historic region of Hejaz. It is the second holy city for Muslims after Mecca, in the city is located Al-Masjid an-Nabawi known as the Prophet’s Mosque or the «Green Dome». It is the largest mosque in the world and the second-holiest site in Islam, after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. Medina is a place of pilgrimage for Muslims, non-Muslims to be in the city is prohibited.
