The Port of Los Angeles is one of the largest ports in the United States and the busiest container port in North America. It is located in the San Pedro neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles in California, 32 km south from Downtown Los Angeles. The seaport has a total area of 3,000 hectares and its coastline is 70 km long. It includes about 27 cargo, passenger and cruise terminals, 270 berths and 80 cranes. It includes 16 marinas, among them the beautiful luxury Spanish-style Cabrillo Way Marina. The Port of Los Angeles, together with the Port of Long Beach, forms the largest port on the West Coast of the United States. The World Cruise Center cruise terminal is located near the Vincent Thomas Bridge and has three berths. It serves more than 1.2 million passengers annually and is the second largest cruise port in the United States after Miami and the largest on the West Coast.
