Jakarta is the capital and largest city of Indonesia, it is located on the coast of the Java Sea in the north-western part of the island of Java. Jakarta has a tropical climate with very hot summer, the dry season lasts from June to September, and the wet season lasts from October to May with high rainfall. The average annual temperature is 30 degrees, in the coldest months it can drop to 20 degrees, and summer air temperature often rises up +40 degrees. Jakarta is the economic center and a major transportation hub of the country, in it is about 27 000 companies. In the city is the sea port of Indonesia and Soekarno–Hatta International Airport.
