The city has a lot of enterprises, pharmaceutical, electronics, shipbuilding, oil refining, mechanical engineering, information technology and financial sectors. Singapore is currently one of the leading high-tech and financial centers in Southeast Asia and one of the largest exporters of petroleum products in the world.
