Sydney Harbour, also known as Port Jackson, is a natural harbor in the Tasman Sea (part of the South Pacific Ocean), located in the state of New South Wales in the southeast of Australia. The Sydney Harbour Bridge across the harbor, was opened on 19 March 1932, is the largest bridge in Sydney and one of the largest steel arch bridges in the world. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is an important part of Sydney’s New Year’s Eve celebrations and is used as New Year’s fireworks launch sites. The first fireworks are set off at 9:00 p.m. and are called the “family fireworks”. The second is the main fireworks at midnight on New Year’s Eve.Through this live webcam can see Sydney Harbor near Goat Island.
