The Muizenberg Beach is a wide sandy beach located on the coast of Falls Bay of the Atlantic Ocean, in the coastal town of Muizenberg in the south of Cape Town, South Africa. The beach is covered with fine white sand, its length is about 1 km, and width reaches 100 m. The beach is popular with families with children, because there is a gentle entrance to the sea and a sandy bottom. The beach has sun loungers, beach umbrellas, changing cabins, showers, also lifeguards are on duty on the beach. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, the Muizenberg Water Slides, the Muizenberg Putt-Putt mini golf course and children’s playgrounds. Mueisenberg is considered one of Cape Town’s premier surfing spots and is home of the city’s most popular surf schools. Muizenberg is home to the well known “Surfers Corner”, and several surf shops. The best time for a beach holiday in Cape Town is from November to March.
