Patong is a resort town in Thailand, located on the coast of the same name bay on the Andaman Sea in the southwest of Phuket Island. It is one of the main tourist destinations of the island. In the town of Patong is located the Patong Beach, with a length of about 3 km it considered one of the largest beaches on Phuket Island. The Patong Beach equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, changing cabins, showers, toilets, as well as a large number of hotels, shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs there are along the beach. Patong is one the main nightlife destination in Phuket with the most popular beer and go-go bars, located mostly on Bangla Road in the town center of Patong. The best time to visit Patong is from November to April, when there are no monsoon rains and storms.
