The Lamai Beach is one of the most popular beaches on Koh Samui together with the Maenam Beach and the Chaweng Beach. It is located on the southwestern coast of Samui Island, 9 km south of the Chaweng Beach. The beach stretches along the Gulf of Thailand for 5 km, and it’s the width reaches 40 m. The beach has a gentle entrance to the sea, and the depth begins at 3 meters from the surf. There are a large number of hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, and nightclubs along the entire the Lamai Beach.
