Nisyros is a island located in the Aegean Sea in Greece between the islands of Kos and Tilos, it is part of the Dodecanese group of islands. The Nisyros volcano is located on the island, while the shape of the island is almost round with a diameter of about 8 km. The sights of Nisyros island include: Prophet Elias Church, Stefanos Crater The Volcano, Archaeological Museum of Nisyros, Church Museum of Nisyros/Panagia Spiliani, Nisyros Volcanologic Museum, and more. Mandraki is the capital and the largest settlement of Nisyros with a population around 682.
