Benidorm is a large city and a popular seaside resort on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante in the southern part of the Valencian Community in eastern Spain. It has an area of about 38 km² and a population of over 70,000. Benidorm is located on the Mediterranean coast, 45 km northeast of Alicante and 135 km south of Valencia.
