About Arenzano

Arenzano is a small historic town and popular resort in the province of Genoa in the Liguria region of Italy, located on the coast of the Ligurian Sea, about 25 kilometers (16 miles) west of Genoa. It covers an area of about 24 square kilometers (9.3 square miles) and has a population of over 11,000 people.

Arenzano was founded in the 1st century AD, with residents historically engaged in fishing and agriculture. The town became a popular resort as early as the Middle Ages and today is one of the most favored destinations on the Riviera di Ponente, the western coast of the Ligurian Sea.
