About Corniglia
Corniglia (Lig. Corniggia) is one of the five picturesque villages within the Cinque Terre National Park, situated along the rugged coastline of the Riviera di Levante. It belongs to the province of La Spezia in the Liguria region of northwestern Italy and is located on the Ligurian coast, 27 kilometers (17 miles) northwest of La Spezia and 102 kilometers (63 miles) southeast of Genoa. The village is perched on a rocky coastline of the Ligurian Sea at an elevation of 100 meters (328 feet) above sea level, between Vernazza to the northwest and Manarola to the southeast.
The population of the village is around 240 residents, and it covers an area of 2 square kilometers (0.77 square miles). Corniglia is renowned for its narrow cobbled streets, bright historic houses, terraced vineyards, stunning natural beauty, and picturesque rugged coastline.
