Riomaggiore is a small picturesque town within the Cinque Terre National Park in the province of La Spezia, Liguria, Italy, and one of the charming resorts of the Italian Riviera. Riomaggiore is the southernmost of the five villages in the Cinque Terre National Park. It is located on the southeastern Italian Riviera, approximately 13 kilometers (8 miles) west of La Spezia, 100 kilometers (62 miles) southeast of Genoa, and about 85 kilometers (53 miles) northwest of Pisa.
This gem of the Italian Riviera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Riomaggiore is known for its vibrant architecture, impressive cliffs, crystal-clear azure waters, picturesque coves, and beaches. The town has a population of about 1,485 people and covers an area of 10.30 square kilometers (3.98 square miles).
