It is one of the five villages of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, located on the eastern Riviera di Levante. Manarola is situated on a rocky, scenic coastline of the Ligurian Sea, 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) west of La Spezia and 120 kilometers (75 miles) southwest of Genoa, between Corniglia to the northwest and Riomaggiore to the southwest.
