About Ivanovo Region
Ivanovo Region is part of Russiaโs Central Federal District. It borders Kostroma Region (north), Yaroslavl Region (west), Vladimir Region (south), and Nizhny Novgorod Region (east). Its administrative center is Ivanovo, located on the Klyazma River, about 180 km northeast of Moscow. The region covers 21,437 kmยฒ and has a population of around 1 million.

Ivanovo Region has a moderately continental climate with four distinct seasons. Winters are cold and snowy; January averages โ12 ยฐC (10 ยฐF). Summers are short, warm, and humid; July averages +18 ยฐC (64 ยฐF). Annual precipitation is around 550 mm, mostly in summer and autumn.
