Siena is an ancient and picturesque city in the Tuscany region of northeastern Italy. It is located in central Tuscany, about 70 kilometers (43 miles) south of Florence and approximately 150 kilometers (93 miles) north of Rome. Siena is a popular tourist destination in Italy, known for its well-preserved medieval historic center and the famous Piazza del Campo.
