Piazza del Campo is the central and largest square in the city of Siena in the Tuscany region of Italy. It is renowned for its magnificent palaces and is considered one of the most beautiful and grandest medieval squares in Europe.

Several palace facades open onto the square, including the Palazzo Pubblico and Palazzo Sansedoni. The famous Torre del Mangia, standing 102 meters (335 feet) tall, is also located here. When it was completed in 1348, Torre del Mangia was the tallest tower in medieval Italy for a long time. Eleven main streets of Siena converge at Piazza del Campo. The square is also home to the Fountain of Joy (Fonte Gaia), founded in 1414, located opposite Palazzo Pubblico.
