Cambrils is a small resort town in the province of Tarragona within the autonomous community of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. It is located on the Mediterranean coast, 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) southwest of Tarragona and 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) west of Salou. Covering an area of 35.26 square kilometers (13.61 square miles), it has a population of approximately 32,500 people. The center of the town features the Cambrils marina, from which fishing boats depart daily. Local restaurants offer the freshest fish and seafood.
Cambrils is known for its beautiful beaches stretching along the town’s Mediterranean coast, many of which are equipped with amenities including umbrella and sunbed rentals, changing rooms, showers, and toilets. Some beaches, primarily located west of the marina, are well-protected from strong waves by breakwaters. Among the most popular beaches in Cambrils are Playa de la Riera and Playa del Regueral near the marina, Playa de la Llosa, Playa de Vilafortuny, and Playa del Cavet.
