Alba Adriatica is a small coastal town in the province of Teramo in the Abruzzo region of eastern Italy, situated on the Adriatic Sea coast, 343 km (213 miles) southeast of Florence. It is one of the most popular resorts on the Adriatic coast of Italy, known for its beautiful sandy beaches and well-developed tourist infrastructure. The town began to take its current form in the early 20th century with the construction of villas and resort facilities, eventually becoming a popular seaside resort. Today, the town has a population of about 10,000 people, and during the tourist season, its population increases to 30,000 – 50,000 people.
