Ponte di Legno is a small commune in the province of Brescia in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is located in the Dolomite Alps, 160 km (99 miles) northeast of Milan and 270 km (168 miles) northwest of Venice. The area of the commune is 100 km² (39 square miles), and it has a population of about 1,800 people.
The climate here is mild and sunny, with cool summers and warm winters. The commune is situated in a gorge surrounded by mountain peaks with ski slopes and cable cars. Ponte di Legno is one of the ski resorts in the province of Brescia. Nearby are the Ponte di Legno Golf Club and a picturesque lake. One of the main landmarks in Ponte di Legno is the Church of the Holy Trinity (Italian: Chiesa della Santissima Trinità).
