Warnemünde is a popular seaside resort in Germany, located at the mouth of the Warnow River on the Baltic Sea coast to the north of Rostock. It is well known for the largest beach on the German Baltic coast with a length of 3 km, making Warnemünde very popular with German residents and numerous tourists mainly from Europe.
Warnemünde is also home to the annual Hanse Sail Rostock sailors meeting. Today, the seaside resort town is one of the most important fishing ports in Germany, from which many fishing vessels set out on the high seas every day. The town’s local fish markets offer the freshest fish, with herring, trout, and salmon being particularly popular.
The webcam is located in the bowling alley “Ostseebowling Warnemünde Rostock” next to Pier 8 of the Warnemünde Cruise Terminal. Through it, you can watch ships entering the seaport of Rostock, as well as cruise ships from all over the world docking at Pier 8 of the cruise terminal of the seaport of Warnemünde.
