Platja d’Aro is a lively coastal town located in the province of Girona within the autonomous community of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. It is a popular Costa Brava resort situated on the Mediterranean coast, 25 km (15.5 miles) southeast of Girona and 105 km (65.2 miles) northeast of Barcelona. Platja d’Aro is well-known for its extensive and well-maintained golden sandy beaches, crystal-clear sea water, and excellent resort infrastructure.

Lifeguards are on duty throughout the beach season to ensure safety. Swimming, sunbathing, beach volleyball, and various water sports are popular activities here.
