Ponte delle Guglie is one of the 400 bridges in Venice, built over the Cannaregio Canal and located in the northern part of the city, near Santa Lucia Train Station and where the Cannaregio Canal meets the Grand Canal. Its name translates from Italian as the “Bridge of Spires.” It is the only stone bridge in the city with obelisks at its four corners. The current stone bridge was built in 1777, replacing an old wooden bridge constructed in 1285.

The Filù Hotel is located on the bank of the Cannaregio Canal, just a 5-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station. It offers guests free Wi-Fi and modern rooms with air conditioning, satellite TV, and private bathrooms with showers. Amenities include daily housekeeping, luggage storage, and breakfast. St. Mark’s Square is located 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) to the south, and the Rialto Bridge is a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
