Santo Stefano Quisquina is a small commune nestled in the Sicani Mountains at the heart of western Sicily. It is located approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) southeast of Palermo and about 200 kilometers (124 miles) west of Catania. Covering an area of around 85 square kilometers (32.8 square miles), the commune is home to just over 5,400 residents.

Renowned for its natural beauty and rich history, Santo Stefano Quisquina is particularly famous for the Hermitage of Santa Rosalia.
