Kamp-Bornhofen is a municipality in Rhineland-Palatinate in western Germany, located on the banks of the Rhine River, 110 km southeast of Cologne and 67 km northwest of Mainz – the capital and largest city of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The municipality has an area of 11.37 km² and only about 1,589 inhabitants. The Liebenstein Castle (German: Burg Liebenstein) and the Sterrenberg Castle (Burg Sterrenberg), located about 2 km south of Kamp-Bornhofen, are the main attractions of the area.
