The Unterwarnow estuary is a estuary of the Warnow River in Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania in northern Germany. The estuary connects the Baltic Sea with the Warnow River. The city of Rostock is located on the banks of the Unterwarnow estuary, while Warnemünde, coastal resort district of Rostock, located on the Baltic Sea coast at the confluence of the Warnow River into the Baltic Sea. This webcam is mounted at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR) on the Rostock waterfront and shows the Unterwarnow estuary and the city itself.
