Piazza dei Martiri Live Webcam, Naples

Piazza dei Martiri is a historic square in the Chiaia district of Naples. It was established in the 17th century (1600s) to honor the Neapolitans who sacrificed their lives during various uprisings and revolutions throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. In the center of the square stands an obelisk topped by a statue symbolizing the bravery of Neapolitan martyrs. Surrounding the obelisk are four marble lion statues, each representing different historical periods of Neapolitan resistance. The square is surrounded by beautiful historic buildings and palaces, including Palazzo Partanna and Palazzo Calabritto.
