Saint Francis Square (Spanish: Plaza de San Francisco) is the main square of Seville, the capital of the autonomous community of Andalusia and the province of Seville in Spain. It is located in the heart of the old city of Seville and is the venue for public events. The square is home to several ancient buildings that are architectural and historical landmarks of Seville. There is the Seville City Hall, which currently houses the City Council of Seville, and the building of Bank of Spain (Spanish: Banco de España). Next to the Banco de Espana is the Mercury Fountain, and there are also sevaral restaurants and cafes in the square.
