Lech (German: Lech am Arlberg) is a prestigious ski resort located in the federal state of Vorarlberg in western Austria. It is part of the Lech-Zürs am Arlberg region and belongs to Ski Arlberg, the largest ski area in Austria. The resort is known for its world-class ski slopes, breathtaking alpine scenery, and exceptional service.
Lech sits at an elevation of approximately 1,450 meters (4,757 feet) above sea level in the valley of the Lech River, near the base of the Arlberg Pass. Just above it is the area of Oberlech, located at 1,710 meters (5,610 feet). The nearest major cities are Innsbruck, about 120 kilometers (75 miles) to the east, and Zurich, Switzerland, approximately 200 kilometers (124 miles) to the west. Lech is a small municipality with a population of around 1,500 residents.
The history of Lech dates back to the 15th century. One of its most enduring landmarks is the village parish church, featuring a 33-meter (108-foot) tower topped with a distinctive onion dome. Inside the bell tower are six bronze bells, the oldest of which dates from the early 15th century. The church also houses a rare one-manual organ crafted by Anton Behmann.

The ski season typically runs from December through April, with a summer season for hiking and outdoor activities stretching from June to October.
