The real-time panoramic webcam shows the Pal sector of the Pal-Arinsal ski resort in Andorra.
Pal-Arinsal is a ski resort in the northwestern part of Andorra, in the La Massana valley. It combines two sectors — Pal and Arinsal — connected by a panoramic gondola lift. The total length of the slopes is 39 miles (63 km), with elevations ranging from 5,085 feet (1,550 meters) to 8,400 feet (2,560 meters). The resort is the second largest in Andorra after Grandvalira and is part of the Grandvalira Resorts system.
The main distinguishing feature of Pal-Arinsal is its family-friendly focus and suitability for beginners. Most slopes are green, blue, and easy red level. The Pal sector is considered quieter and better suited for first lessons, while Arinsal offers longer and steeper runs. It is in Arinsal where the resort’s greatest vertical drop is found — approximately 3,315 feet (1,010 meters) — from the summit of Pic Alt de la Capa down to the lower part of Cota village.
The resort operates 31 ski lifts, including a gondola from La Massana village to the Pal sector and lifts from Arinsal center. A large cable car connects the two sectors via the Coll de la Botella pass, allowing quick transfers between slopes without descending into the valley. The total lift capacity is approximately 50,300 people per hour, so even in peak season, queues are generally shorter than at Andorra’s larger resorts.
Pal-Arinsal is known not only for winter sports. In summer, it is home to one of Europe’s most famous bike parks — Bike Park Pal Arinsal — with more than 37 miles (60 km) of mountain bike trails. In winter, in addition to regular skiing, the resort offers a snowpark, snowshoe trails, tubing, and even a Winter Bike Park. Thanks to its combination of convenient slopes, beautiful forest scenery, and a more relaxed atmosphere, the resort is considered one of the best places in Andorra for family vacations and first-time mountain trips.
