Mount Etna - Fornazzo Live Webcam

Fornazzo is a commune in Italy located on the eastern side of the island of Sicily. It sits at an elevation of 800 meters (2,625 feet) above sea level on the eastern slope of Mount Etna, just 25 kilometers (about 15.5 miles) east of the Etna crater. The commune was built on solidified lava in 1689 and is part of the city of Catania, the second-largest city in Sicily after Palermo. Fornazzo serves as a stopover point for numerous tourists heading out for excursions on the eastern side of Mount Etna and to the tourist base Piano Provenzana, located on the northern slope of the volcano. The few attractions in Fornazzo include the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
