Marina di Ragusa is a small resort town in Italy, located in the province of Ragusa on the southwestern coast of Sicily, 116 kilometers (about 72 miles) southwest of Catania and 24 kilometers (about 15 miles) southwest of Ragusa, the provincial capital. Marina di Ragusa is considered one of the most prestigious seaside resorts in southern Italy. The Marina di Ragusa Beach is the town’s main attraction and one of the most popular beaches in Sicily.
The beach is approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 0.93 miles) long and up to about 40 meters (about 131 feet) wide. The shoreline offers a gentle slope into the sea, making it especially appealing to families with children. The beach is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including umbrella and lounge chair rentals, showers, changing cabins, restrooms, and lifeguard services. The Marina di Ragusa promenade, with numerous restaurants, bars, and cafés, stretches along the beach.
