San Pedro is known for its rich history, beautiful nature, and traditional Canarian architecture. The town’s main attraction is the 16th-century San Pedro Church (Iglesia De San Pedro Apostol), located in the town center near Plaza Bujaz. Surrounded by lush greenery, the town offers visitors stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful mountain landscape of the eastern part of La Palma Island.

San Pedro enjoys a mild subtropical climate with pleasant warm weather year-round, making it perfect for enjoying nature, sightseeing, and hiking throughout the year. Thanks to the favorable weather conditions, agriculture, primarily banana plantations, forms the basis of the local economy.
