About Khimki
Khimki, a key satellite city of Moscow and the administrative center of the Khimki Urban District, is home to 257,000 residents, with a population density exceeding 2,300 people per km². Situated along the Moscow Canal and the Khimka, Skhodnya, and Klyazma Rivers, it borders Moscow’s Kurkino, Molzhaninovsky, Levoberezhny, and Severnoye Tushino Districts, as well as the cities of Dolgoprudny, Lobnya, Mytishchi, Krasnogorsk, and Solnechnogorsk.
