Kitzbühel – Mount Pengelstein Live Cam, Austria

Mount Pengelstein is one of the most scenic peaks in the Kitzbühel Alps, located in the federal state of Tyrol in western Austria. It’s a popular destination for both winter sports and summer activities like hiking and mountain biking. The mountain reaches an elevation of 1,938 meters (6,358 feet) above sea level. Visitors can reach the summit via several cable cars, including the Hahnenkammbahn, Fleckalmbahn, and the 3S-Bahn, which connects the Jochberg and Wurzhöhe areas. At the top, you’ll find the Bergrestaurant Pengelstein, several cozy alpine huts, and various other facilities for rest and relaxation.

During the winter season, Pengelstein is part of the world-renowned KitzSki ski area, which has been repeatedly recognized as one of the best ski resorts in the world. The area offers a wide variety of slopes suitable for skiers of all skill levels. In the warmer months, Pengelstein features numerous scenic hiking trails and excellent mountain biking conditions—especially along the Hahnenkamm–Pengelstein route, which spans 28.5 kilometers (17.7 miles). From the summit, breathtaking panoramic views unfold over the Hohe Tauern and Wilder Kaiser mountain ranges.
