El Cotillo is a picturesque village located on the northwest coast of Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands in Spain. It is known for its stunning beaches, serene atmosphere, and traditional Canarian architecture. The village center is built around a small rocky bay, featuring a tiny promenade and the popular Playa del Muellito beach. Other popular beaches in El Cotillo include Playa de Marfolín, Playa De Los Lagos, and Playa del Cotillo, located to the north of the village center.
Popular attractions in El Cotillo include the Old Harbor (Puerto Antiguo), El Cotillo Lighthouse, and the El Toston Castle (Castillo de El Toston), built in the 18th century to protect against pirate invasions.
