The Church of Seraphim of Sarov is located on General Khlebnikov Street in the Moskovsky neighborhood of Ivanovo. It is a small wooden church built from timber in honor of Saint Seraphim of Sarov. The foundation stone was laid on July 27, 2003, and the first liturgy was held on December 4, 2003. In 2008, a large white-stone church dedicated to the Intercession of the Mother of God was built nearby, becoming one of the largest and most beautiful churches in the city.
