The Old Bridge in Astrakhan is a combined road and railway bridge over the Volga River, constructed between 1946 and 1952. The New Bridge in Astrakhan was built in 1989 and is located further upstream on the Volga. The Old Bridge connects Naberezhnaya Privolzhskogo Zatona Street in the Kirovsky District with Dzerzhinsky Street in the Trusovsky District.
The webcam is installed at building №36 on Naberezhnaya Privolzhskogo Zatona Street and faces southwest. The view includes the beginning of the Old Bridge on the right, Naberezhnaya Privolzhskogo Zatona Street, and the Privolzhsky backwater on the left.
