The Trud Sports Palace is one of the largest sports facilities in the Irkutsk Region and among the most popular venues in Irkutsk. It is located on the right bank of the Angara River in the Pravoberezhny District, at 48 Lenina Street. Built in 1957, the complex includes a multipurpose indoor arena, an archery range, and the central Trud Stadium, which seats 17,800 spectators.
During the winter season, the stadium is converted into an ice rink measuring 105 by 68 meters. It regularly hosts citywide and regional track and field events, the Russian Bandy Championship, as well as national league football matches. The stadium serves as the home ground for Irkutsk’s professional teams: the bandy club Baikal-Energiya and the football club Zenit Irkutsk.
