Trading Square Live Webcam, Dmitrov

Trading Square is one of the main and largest squares in Dmitrov, as well as one of the city’s oldest areas. It owes its name to the fact that trade has taken place here since ancient times. According to archaeologists, merchants were active on the square as early as the 12th–13th centuries. Goods sold here included fruits and vegetables, meat and fish, as well as handmade items crafted by local artisans. Today, Trading Square is home to the Dmitrov Market — the largest city market. Part of the square features a spacious open area next to the market. Trading Square is located in the very heart of Dmitrov, in its historic center, right next to the Dmitrov Kremlin.
