Nagatinsky Zaton is a district in Moscow’s Southern Administrative Okrug, located on a peninsula formed by a bend in the Moscow River. Named after a historic river backwater used for ship docking, it was once the village of Nagatino before joining Moscow. The area is known for landmarks like Kolomenskoye Park, historic churches, and the Karusel Amusement Park.

The district has excellent transport links, including Kolomenskaya and Kashirskaya metro stations, plus the new Klenovy Bulvar and Nagatinsky Zaton stations (opened in 2023) on the Big Circle Line. Tram routes and the Southern River Terminal enhance connectivity. In 2023, a striking 219-meter crescent-shaped pedestrian and bicycle bridge opened, connecting the riverbanks and adding a modern touch to the cityscape, perfect for walks and cycling.
