Located in the western part of Zelenogradsk in the Kaliningrad Region, the Western Beach is a well-equipped stretch of coastline in the Malinowka district, about 2 km west of the central promenade. Known for its developed infrastructure, expansive shoreline, and easy accessibility, this beach is noticeably less crowded than Zelenogradsk’s Central Beach, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat.

Stretching approximately 800 meters long with a width varying from 30 to 150 meters, the beach features soft, sandy shores and a gentle slope into the water. Breakwaters reinforce certain sections of the coastline. The beach is designed for comfort, offering wooden walkways, ramps for accessibility, changing cabins, showers, portable toilets, and beach equipment rentals. A scenic wooden promenade with a dedicated bike path runs alongside, perfect for leisurely strolls or cycling. The beach season typically runs from June to early September.

Getting to Western Beach is convenient: it’s about a 2-km walk from Zelenogradsk’s train station or just 500 meters from the Malinowka station. Paid parking and public transit stops are available nearby. The area is surrounded by residential neighborhoods, sanatoriums, hotels, spa complexes, cafés, restaurants, and shops. With its natural dunes and distance from the city center, Western Beach provides a tranquil setting for relaxation along the Baltic coast. Popular activities include cycling along the promenade, SUP surfing, beach volleyball, and other beach sports.
