Sovetskaya Street Live Webcam, Bratsk
This live webcam shows Sovetskaya Street in the city of Bratsk, Irkutsk Oblast, Russia.
Sovetskaya Street is one of the central and historically significant streets of Bratsk, located in the city’s Central District. It serves as an important transportation route and social hub. The street runs eastward from Lenin Avenue and stretches about 1.5–2 km to the boundary of the Central District. Its name, given during the Soviet era, reflects the ideological character of that time. Development of the street began in the 1980s as part of the district’s urban planning.
Designed as a boulevard, Sovetskaya Street features a pedestrian walkway paved with stone tiles, lined with alleys, lighting, benches, small architectural elements, and green landscaping. In the 2010s, improvements included resurfacing, upgrades to street furniture, and expanded greenery. The street is primarily flanked by panel-built residential high-rises (8–10 stories), constructed during the 1980s and 1990s. Architecturally, it represents the typical Soviet style — functional and utilitarian, with minimal decorative detail.
