Sobolinaya Mountain Ski Resort is a popular year-round destination in Irkutsk Region, located on the slopes of Mount Sobolinaya on the southwestern shore of Lake Baikal. It lies within the town of Baikalsk, about 135 km (84 mi) south of Irkutsk and 312 km (194 mi) west of Ulan-Ude.
The resort offers 15 ski runs of varying difficulty with a total length of 15 km (9.3 mi), ranging from easy “green” slopes for beginners to challenging “red” and “black” runs. There is also a training slope, a children’s slope, a 170-meter tubing track, a slalom course, a mogul course, and more.
